The Maestro Manager Life Planner project included a logo and branding package, book layout, custom website, printing, and more. We transformed Jessica's dream into a beautiful, finished product that resulted in a successful Kickstarter campaign and a second planner for 2017.

We started with the logo and custom icons that would support the different sections of the planner. The first drafts of the logo were busier, with the icons arranged around the maestro; but in the end, we simplified and separated them out.

The finished logo is a nice, clean, strong image that defines the brand and communicates quickly the idea of the planner helping you orchestrate your life.

The six custom icons represent the different sections of our lives: mind, body, soul, home, community, and work. They pop up in various places in the monthly, weekly, and daily sections of the planner, so it was important that each one be clear and memorable.

The most challenging aspect of the project was laying out all the pages of the planner in a clean and compelling format. Without the use of color, we had to rely on strong styling and subtle greyscale. The end result, though, is a soothing layout that is easy on the eyes and never distracting.

Update for 2017 Maestro Manager:

For the 2017 calendar year, we redesigned the entire book, from the ground up, adding new sections and re-designing nearly every element of the book.
